Customers can register for events at a store or regional level. This means that an event can only exist in one New York store, but not others. Customers will arrive on a booking page, where they can select a time-slot, or simply add their name to a guest list and arrive at the store or boutique to check in.
This is a Clientela hosted registration gateway, based on the brands opt-in requirements and consumer agreement, a profile will be created. This allows employees to view any captured data. For example, if the customer filled out a questionnaire for an event, it would appear in their profile.
Traditionally, retail brands will embed data directly into their eCommerce site from Clientela APIs and directly into their own content management system or native software.
URL's that are publicly accessible via a brands website or Clientela, and don't have password restrictions, are considered public events and can be registered by anyone who accesses them, unless their email is blacklisted in Clientela.
URLs can be shared directly via email, and not shared via a brands website or any online sites. Passwords and other security checks can be added on the registration gateway, or supported via Clientela API.
