Customers can register for events at a store or regional level. This means that an event can only exist in one New York store, but not others. Customers will arrive on a booking page, where they can select a time-slot, or simply add their name to a guest list and arrive at the store or boutique to check in. This is a Clientela-hosted registration gateway, based on the brands opt-in requirements and consumer agreement, a clienteling profile will be created. This allows employees to view any captured data. For example, if the customer filled out a questionnaire for an event, it would appear in their profile.

Traditionally, retail brands will embed data directly into their eCommerce site from Clientela APIs and directly into their own content management system or native software.
URL's that are publicly accessible via a brands website or Clientela, and don't have password restrictions, are considered public events and can be registered by anyone who accesses them, unless their email is blacklisted in Clientela.
